Recently I got intrigued by the idea of doing a woodworking project. I want to build an elevated garden bed like this one from Gronomics so that my daughter and I can grow vegetables.
The elevated bed needs to fit in a particular spot in our backyard and needs to be a bit wider than the ready-made kits that are available, so it’s a good fit for a custom project, although it might be a little more complicated than I can handle, since I have exactly zero woodworking skills. We’ll see.

Right now I’m studing Mathias Wandel’s basic woodworking videos and trying to learn SketchUp, a 3D modeling program that he has tutorials for.
I cut off another thin piece and glued them together to make my first ever thing out of wood:
